Tuxedo Tiramisu for Dad (no-bake!)

tuxedo cake for Dad 1_small

If you can’t tell from the pics, I let my kids make this cake for Jeff. It’s a little lumpy, a little imperfect and they might have gotten a little excited with the Cool Whip. Normally I don’t post recipes unless they look as good as they taste but for Father’s Day I thought you might want something the kids could help with. I think Jeff treasured this dessert even more than usual because the kids were so proud of it.

And it’s reeeeaaalllly delicious. I mean Oreos, white chocolate pudding and whipped cream? How can this be anything less than amazing?

p.s. It’s important that the cream cheese is softened, otherwise it leaves little clumps in the whipped cream mixture.

Ingredients

1 package Double Stuff Oreos

4 oz.cream cheese, softened

1-1/2 cups milk

1 pkg. (3.3 oz.) white chocolate instant pudding

1 pkg. Cool Whip

Instructions

Place Oreos in a food processor (I start with half the package) and process until crumbly and smooth. Mixture will clump together a bit; that's okay.

Place softened cream cheese in large bowl and gradually add milk while beating with an electric mixer. Add dry pudding mix; beat 1 min. Stir in Cool Whip.

Line 8x4-inch pan with parchment, with ends of parchment extending over sides. Arrange 1/4 of the cookie mixture on bottom of prepared pan, pressing firmly; cover with 1/3 of the pudding mixture. Repeat layers twice. Top with remaining cookie mixture. Refrigerate overnight.

Use parchment handles to remove dessert from pan before slicing to serve. I found it slices cleaner if you pop it in the freezer for 30 min!
