Bananatella Ice Cream (2 ingredients!)

About a year ago, there was this whole one-ingredient-banana-ice-cream thing circling the internet. I tried it and found it delicious, but it wasn’t until this week that I figured out how to make it genius.

You know what I added, don’t you? That’s right…Nutella.

In addition to creating the cutest name ever (who doesn’t like to say Bananatella?), it might be the simplest, yummiest dessert I’ve ever made in five minutes or less.

Bananatella Ice Cream (2 ingredients!)

Bananatella Ice Cream (2 ingredients!)

Ingredients

You can use peanut butter, almond butter etc. if you don't have Nutella. The ice cream has a soft-serve consistency. Throw it in the freezer for a few minutes if you want firmer.

4 very ripe bananas

2 tablespoons Nutella

Instructions

Slice bananas. Cover and place in freezer for 1-2 hours. Throw frozen slices in a food processor (or very powerful blender if you have one) and process until creamy. (Note: this will take 3-5 minutes and you have to stop periodically to scrape the sides and unstick the frozen pieces together.) Add Nutella at the end and process until combined. Serve immediately.

Makes four 1/2-cup servings. (Note: I can eat the whole batch by myself...so double it if you're in doubt.)
