I ain’t gonna lie to you — these cinnamon rolls are a guilty pleasure. You won’t find these gracing the cover of Weight Watchers, but hey — if you’re going go through the trouble of making cinnamon rolls from scratch, don’t you want ‘em to be gobsmackingly good.
These are that good.
Rebecca likes a traditional cream cheese frosting, but I’m in love with this warm, toasty brown butter glaze slathered on top.
You can make these ahead of time and freeze completely cooked and glazed. Just let thaw and heat before serving. A perfect make-ahead treat for company!
