These aren’t exactly a new recipe, I posted the original back in April and it has become one of my most-requested and most-pinned recipes. I wanted to give them to a new neighbor who moved in over the weekend but I didn’t have time to scoop out all the dough and cook them individually. So I took a chance and threw the entire batch of dough into a 10×15 pan and hoped it would turn out some excellent bar cookies.
Good idea.
These were really delicious. I made them look prettier by sprinkling some chocolate chips on top right after they came out of the oven. I let them cool then cut off all the crispy edges (I like nice, soft bar cookies).
Yum. This shortcut works!

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
