Need something super stat for St. Paddy’s day? I’ve got you covered. My kids saw a version of these cupcakes online. Since they start with a cake mix, they thought they could handle making them on their own. I totally stayed out of it, and look what they came up with!
Ingredients
1 box yellow or devil's food cake mix
Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
1 container vanilla frosting
Green food coloring, if desired
3 cups Lucky Charms® cereal
Green edible glitter (optional)
Instructions
Make and bake cake mix as directed on box for 24 cupcakes. Cool in pans 10 minutes; remove from pans to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
If desired, add green food coloring to vanilla frosting. Frost cupcakes with frosting. Top each cupcake with 2 tablespoons cereal; sprinkle with edible glitter. Store loosely covered.
