Alright. So this isn’t so much a cookie as it is a sweet treat. And something to dress up your holiday cookie platter that looks fantastic and takes very little effort. And by very little effort I mean, like, five minutes.
It’s not even a real recipe, per se. I mean, does four ingredients even qualify as a recipe?
Kate and Carter are making these for their holiday “kid” party. But these will be the showstoppers on any cookie platter. And the best part? They taste good too!
Ho Ho Ho… have fun making these with the kids!
Ingredients
Strawberries
Almond Bark
Sparkling decorator's sugar (found at craft stores and in some grocery stores - I found mine at Wal-Mart in the baking section)
Mini-marshmallows
Instructions
Cut the stems off your berries. Melt almond bark according to package directions. Dip large end of strawberries in melted almond bark. Sprinkle sugar so it sticks to almond bark. Place berries on a hard surface. Cut a toothpick in half and insert into pointy end of berry. Skewer marshmallow on top. Voila!
